Secret Cleared Outside Machinist

Job Description Insight Global is looking to help build out an Outside Machinist team to help support a federal client. The outside machinist will be helping in the repair and install phase upon different submarines. The outside machinist will be reading designs and drawings, measuring material, installing material, testing materials, aligning pumps and valves. They will be traveling from NOB, NNSY, and NNS to support various submarines. The candidate is required to have an active clearance or an interim clearance due to the nature of the work. Day-to-day Insight Global is looking for an experienced Outside Machinist with a secret clearance and marine knowledge/background. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Will be assigned on a submarine either at NNS, NNSY, or Chesapeake shop Will repair pumps and Hydraulics on the submarines

• They will be doing overhaul work (not new construction)
• Will install hatches and covers
• Will also need to grind, prep, and paint

Pay Range 25/hr to 40/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
