Grow your career while doing meaningful, hands-on work.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401k$3.00 shift differentialAssembly Technician Details:Temp-to-Hire position$23.50 to $26.50 / hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Thursday from 03:45pm to 04:45am)Assemble large mechanical components according to blueprints and production instructions.Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools to install and secure parts.Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process.Safely lift, position, and move materials using approved equipment.Install and secure bolts, bearings, shafts, and other mechanical parts.Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.Assembly Technician Qualifications:Previous manufacturing or production assembly experience.Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.Ability to read, write, and understand work instructions.High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
