The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set. This role will be based in Hoffman Estates for 3-6 months and then will be moved to work in Naperville permanently. As the Senior Specialist, Logistics in Managed Transportation at RXO, your attention to the small details and strong work ethic will ensure our operations continue to run smoothly as we deliver exceptional service to our customers. What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like Investigate, resolve and/or call out operational oddities Schedule, coordinate and monitor drivers and equipment to ensure daily transportation operations run safely, efficiently and on time Assist in the development, planning and modification of daily schedules as appropriate; make notifications to customer service and the operations manager as to the status of shipments Correctly troubleshoot and proactively resolve shipment discrepancies as needed Proactively communicate with customers, employees and the management team to ensure necessary requirements are met Accurately enter data into the transportation management system; maintain and generate required reports Properly process, audit and file various documentation Monitor and ensure proper coding application in a timely matter; elevate as needed Maintain statement of work audit schedule and distribute updates to all team members What You’ll Need To Excel 2 years of transportation experience Experience with Windows applications and Microsoft Office, including creating complex formulas in Excel Basic Computer Skills It’d Be Great If You Also Have Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics Management Knowledge of shipping software Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience The capability to perform complex analysis of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems; able to produce unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations of data/information Our Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off includes: up to 8 holidays, up to 2 floating Diversity Days, Hourly: Earn up to 13 days PTO/ Salary: Earn up to 15 days PTO, up to 40 hours bereavement leave, up to 16 hours volunteer time, jury duty, at least 2 weeks family bonding leave, up to 40 hours prenatal care leave 401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% company match Insurance: health, prescription, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life, short and long-term disability, accidental death and personal loss, business travel, legal services, ID theft, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance Tax-Advantaged Accounts: Health Savings Account, Health Care Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, Commuter Spending Account Health Reimbursement Arrangement Our Culture Our values are the key to our unique culture and our ability to deliver for everyone we serve.
