Payroll Specialist (Temporary)

Job Overview – Payroll Specialist (Temporary) Compensation: $22/hour Location: Miami, FL Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-Office) TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Payroll Specialist (Temporary) in Miami, FL for our client, supporting payroll processing, reporting, and administrative functions within a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on ensuring accurate payroll execution, maintaining employee records, and assisting with compliance and reporting activities. The position requires strong attention to detail, experience with payroll systems, and proficiency in Excel. Responsibilities Payroll Processing: Coordinate and process payroll accurately and on schedule using payroll systems. Timesheet Review: Review and adjust employee timesheets to ensure accuracy prior to payroll submission. Reporting: Generate payroll and HR reports to support internal tracking and compliance needs. Data Management: Maintain employee records and process updates including new hires, terminations, and pay changes. Issue Resolution: Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries. Administrative Support: Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and general HR-related projects. Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience is accepted. Experience: 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or a related function is required. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with payroll compliance and reporting practices. Technical Skills: Experience with payroll systems such as Paycom or ADP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are required. Language: Bilingual Spanish is preferred. Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are required.
