We need an Estimator who is great with people and sharp with numbers.

You will be the first face of Paint It Right. You run the estimate appointment, measure the job, build the proposal in DripJobs, and follow up until it is won or closed.

You do not need to be a painter. You do need to be organized, on time, and comfortable talking about price.

Training is included. You learn our pricing with our training program, then ride along on real estimates before you run your own.

COMPENSATION

• Commission: 5% of the total job on every job you close;

• Raise: commission can go up to 6% or 7% when you hit monthly benchmarks

• Appointment pay: $20 for every estimate appointment you run

• Gas is paid by the company

• An estimating vehicle is provided

• Training and a ride-along with the owner before you go solo

• Commission is paid when the customer pays

• Run estimate appointments at homes and businesses

• Listen to what the customer wants and explain our process

• Measure the job and note prep and repair needs

• Build clear, accurate proposals in DripJobs

• Follow up on open estimates until they are won or closed out

• Hand job details to our scheduler and crews so nothing gets lost

• Keep notes and photos so every job is documented

• Show up on time, dressed and ready, every time

Preferred, not required:

• 1 to 3 years in estimating, sales, construction, painting or home services

• Experience giving quotes or proposals to customers

• Comfortable with DripJobs or a similar CRM

Required:

• Strong math and measuring skills

• Clear, confident communication with customers

• Organized and good at follow up

• Comfortable with a phone, a tablet and simple software

• Valid driver's license and a clean enough driving record to drive our estimating vehicle

• Willing to drive between Ann Arbor and the Toledo area

• Able to climb a ladder and walk a property in any season
