Product Manager

Our Client’s Trading Platforms group is looking for Product Manager with good knowledge and ability to communicate effectively, understanding problems and explain their solution. The position is well-suited for an organized individual who can meet deadlines, follow written procedures, and collaborate for improvements and be a team player. NY or CT)$200,000 for senior level (10+yrs exp.), $175,000 for Mid-Level (7-10yrs exp.), $160k for junior level (3-7yrs exp.)Responsibilities:Defining detailed functional specifications for new features based on existing UI/UX paradigmsMaintaining executive summaries on the progress and milestones of multiple projects simultaneouslyManaging day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including communication of client needs to the team.Managing multiple projects simultaneously and understand project priorities in the context of the groupAssisting with functional reviews, testing and validation during the software development lifecycleBecoming an expert with IB's trading software and award-winning brokerage platformWorking with product and engineering teams to get a deep understanding of the services and infrastructure that power our global trading systemsRequired Qualifications:B.S. or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, FinanceA Minimum 3 year experience in product/technical management or consulting with focus on product development and deliveryExperience managing projects through full lifecycle from ideation and inception to implementation and delivery/release.Knowledge of or experience in the financial services sectorHighly organized and self-directed with a strong ability to prioritize and multi-taskExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent presentation and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented, proactive, and enthusiasticNice to Have :Knowledge of or experience with UI and UX designFamiliar with key concepts related to trading and financial products.Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
