This role combines technical accounting expertise with client relationship management and process improvement. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients succeed through accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and technology-driven solutions.Job DetailsJob TypeMonday-Friday 100% on-site role Department: Client Accounting and Advisory ServicesEducation & LicensesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA-eligible preferred.4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or client advisory settingAdvanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting platformsStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standardsExcellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment.Major Responsibilities & DutiesKey ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle outsourced accounting services, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flowPrepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with GAAPOversee sales tax and payroll filings; resolve complex tax issues and noticesPerform month-end close procedures and ensure timely, accurate reportingConduct accounting reviews in preparation for audits, tax returns, and year-end closeAct as a strategic advisor, providing financial insights and recommendations to support client decision-makingLead client onboarding and ensure smooth transitions to internal systems and processesMeet with clients regularly to review financial performance, KPIs, and growth opportunitiesIdentify and recommend improvements to clients' accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting structuresSupervise and mentor junior staff and internsReview work performed by team members and provide coaching and feedbackCoordinate with client internal accounting teams and external auditors as neededLeverage platforms like QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct and other cloud-based tools to streamline workflowsRecommend and implement automation tools and best practices to improve efficiencyStay current on emerging accounting technologies and industry trendsSeize an OpportunityWe're not just looking for bodies to fill chairs.
