Job Description
Join Our Passionate Team in the Obstetric Emergency Department!


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in Labor and Delivery required (1st timers accepted with the same experience).
- Patient Population: Neonates to Adults
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP
- General Skills:
- Ability to perform autonomous vaginal exams
- Experience in Circulation and Triage
- Patient Ratio/Census:
- 1:3 ratio
- 6 Rooms with an average daily census of 15
- Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR
- Scrub Color: Provided by the facility
- Time Off (RTO): Max 7 days
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Floating: Yes, within service line to L&D, APU, OR
- Call Requirements: One 12-hour shift per schedule
- Holidays: Work one major holiday in your assignment period; work two holidays if three major holidays fall in your assignment.
- Compliance: Complete all onboarding items on time to ensure a smooth start!
- Clinical Screen: Candidates will be reviewed for clinical fit before final decision.

- Daily Census: 15
- Number of Rooms: 6
- Interdisciplinary Support: Includes Interpretation Services, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams

Requirements:
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
- 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
- Required: Ability to complete vaginal exams autonomously
