Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our dynamic team. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional care and support to families during the exciting and critical moments of childbirth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and within scope of practice.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families before, during, and after childbirth.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
• Perform floating duties within facility as required.

Schedule & Requirements

• Every other weekend commitment required.
• One 12-hour night shift per schedule (19:00 - 07:00).
• A maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
• Major holidays may require working based on assignment period.
• Full compliance required for timely onboarding; non-compliance may result in delayed start.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; first-time travelers are welcome.
• Clinical screening will be conducted to determine fit before manager review.

Holidays

If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. For two major holidays, work is required for both. If three major holidays occur, the expectation is to work two of the three.

• Major holidays include:
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Additional Information

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Non-billable orientation hours will vary based on contract length. Please ensure all compliance documentation is submitted promptly to avoid any onboarding delays.
