Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, Restorative Care - Per Diem

Work Location: Orange, California. Work Shift: Day – 08hrs (United States of America). Job Summary The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant provides speech language therapy services to clinic patients under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Pay Range: Minimum $48.00, Midpoint $48.00, Maximum $49.00. Requirements Experience: None required. Education: Associate degree in Speech Pathology or Communicative Disorders from an accredited program. Training: None required. Specialized Skills: Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally; work calmly and respond courteously under pressure; collaborate and accept direction; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary, operate basic office equipment; communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently. Preferred: Conversational fluency in sign language or a second language, particularly Spanish or Vietnamese. Licensure: California license as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant; Basic Life Support (BLS). Work Environments Functional Demand: Sedentary – Very light energy level; Lift up to 10 lbs. box overhead, 15 lbs. Push/pull 20 lbs. cart.
