Job Summary:

Conduct reviews of physician documentation to identify opportunity for clinical documentation improvement.

Job Duties:Demonstrates knowledge of documentation requirementsFacilitates clinical documentationCompetent utilization of EPIC, 3M Encompass/CDIS, MidasIdentify opportunities for operational improvementDemonstrates responsibility for personal developmentWorks in collaborative fashion with team members and other associatesPerforms other duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation, Credentials, Licenses:If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence.Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performedSpecialized Knowledge:Use of personal computer and Windows applications.Knowledge of encoding/grouping/compliance software.Kind and Length of Experience:Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience
