Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

We've been retained by a global FMCG company to identify a Director of FP&A. This company is a subsidiary of a Fortune 50 company. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management. Reporting to the Vice President of FP&A, the Director will serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, providing financial insights that support key business decisions and long-term growth initiatives. The successful candidate will build and lead a high-performing FP&A team while helping shape financial strategy across a complex global organization. Key responsibilities Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Deliver financial analysis and business insights to executive leadership. Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics. Partner with business leaders to evaluate strategic initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities. Drive financial modeling, scenario planning, and profitability analysis. Identify business risks and opportunities while recommending actionable solutions. Champion continuous improvement, process optimization, and financial reporting enhancements. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of FP&A professionals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience. Demonstrated leadership experience within large, complex, or global organizations. Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting. Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities. Experience partnering with senior executives to influence strategic decisions. Excellent communication and leadership skills. MBA, CPA, CMA, or similar credentials are a plus. Location Cincinnati, OH - Hybrid. Candidates should be located in the Cincinnati area or be open to relocating.
