Job Title: SALT Tax Manager/ Income & Franchise Tax Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90071
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite
Salary: $138,000 – $172,500/year + Annual Bonus

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced **Income & Franchise Tax Manager** to manage state income tax compliance and consulting activities for multiple clients.

Responsibilities
* Manage state income and franchise tax compliance and consulting projects.
* Review and prepare state tax returns and related filings.
* Perform tax research and prepare technical memos and client communications.
* Assist clients with state tax audits.
* Manage multiple client engagements, deadlines, and deliverables.
* Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff.
* Support client relationships and business development activities.

Requirements
* **Bachelor’s degree in Accounting**
* **6+ years of progressive State Income Tax / SALT experience**
* **Active California CPA license**, OR active law license/JD, OR IPT certification
* Strong state income and franchise tax knowledge
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to work **3 days per week onsite in Los Angeles**
