Receiving Inspector Aviation Parts | $20/hr | 1st Shift
Job Description

We are hiring a Receiving Inspector to inspect aviation parts and materials, verify documentation, and ensure inventory meets quality and traceability requirements. This is a contract-to-hire position in an air-conditioned warehouse, working Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM.
Responsibilities

• Inspect aviation parts for quality, condition, and accuracy.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, certifications, and traceability documentation.
• Review orders and prioritize inspections based on shipping deadlines.
• Identify missing paperwork, discrepancies, or quality issues and assist with resolution.
• Enter and validate inspection and inventory information in the system.
• Issue material certifications and maintain accurate, audit-ready records.
• Follow proper handling procedures for ESD-sensitive components.
• Work with Quality Assurance, shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of aviation surplus parts processing experience required.
• Experience inspecting or handling aviation parts/materials.
• Knowledge of aviation traceability and quality documentation.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, or material handling.
• Familiarity with quality inspection, quality control, or quality assurance.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of ISO and/or AS quality standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, computer skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay & Work Environment

• $20/hour
• Monday-Friday, 9 AM-6 PM
• Air-conditioned warehouse
• Contract-to-hire with potential conversion around 90 days
• Steel-toe shoes required; up to $80 reimbursement after permanent conversion

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
