We are looking for an exceptional Service Coordinator —someone who genuinely enjoys helping customers, communicates exceptionally well, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where organization, follow-through, and attention to detail matter every day.

The Role

The Service Coordinator serves as a central connection between our customers, field technicians, and internal teams, coordinating service requests from initial contact through scheduling, field completion, documentation, billing support, and closeout.

No two days are the same. Priorities can change quickly, so the right person will be highly organized, proactive, comfortable working with urgency, and able to keep multiple priorities moving without losing sight of the details—or the customer relationship.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a primary point of contact for Service customers, providing professional, responsive, and friendly communication.
• Coordinate service requests through scheduling, field completion, follow-up, documentation, and closeout.
• Schedule and support field technicians while adjusting to emergency calls, changing priorities, and customer needs.
• Keep customers informed regarding scheduling, service status, outstanding items, and next steps.
• Maintain accurate customer, job, and service information within company systems.
• Oversee work orders, proposals/quotes, purchase orders, invoicing, and account documentation.
• Review technician documentation and help confirm required information is received before closeout.
• Coordinate with Service Management, Customer Success, Accounting, Project Management, and other internal teams.
• Proactively track outstanding items and follow through to keep work moving toward completion.
• Build strong customer relationships through reliability, responsiveness, and genuine care.
• Develop working knowledge of fire alarm terminology, systems, and processes.

You are someone who:

• Has at least 2 years of customer service, service coordination, dispatch, project coordination, or similar experience.
• Communicates exceptionally well, both verbally and in writing.
• Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and changing needs.
• Takes pride in accuracy, attention to detail, and thorough follow-through.
• Genuinely enjoys helping customers and building professional relationships.
• Remains composed and solutions-focused when priorities shift or urgent needs arise.
• Takes ownership, identifies next steps, and follows responsibilities through to completion.
• Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Is comfortable learning new technology, processes, and technical terminology.

Industry Experience

Experience within fire alarm, life safety, low-voltage, electrical, HVAC, construction, facilities, or another service-based trade is highly preferred.

Direct fire alarm experience is a plus, but not required for a candidate with strong service coordination experience and the ability to learn our industry.
