Job Title: Trimming Line Operator Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Trimming Line Operator, where you will play a vital role in our blow molding operations. You will be responsible for handling machinery, ensuring smooth product flow, and performing necessary adjustments to maintain quality production.

• Operate and monitor blow molding lines.
• Load and unload machinery efficiently.
• Conduct trimming of plastic off manufactured bottles manually.
• Ensure continuous product flow on the lines.
• Unclog and monitor lines and automated machinery.
• Assist with machinery changeovers and setups.
• Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures as necessary.
• Monitor product movement and push products through jams.
• Input changes and adjustments into HMI screen.
• Conduct small machinery setups as needed.

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in machine operating and line work.
• Experience with changeovers and setups.

• Experience in plastics or chemicals is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude is beneficial.

Experience a fast-paced production floor with both a filling and blending side, as well as a blow molding side. We blend and fill antifreeze on-site and manufacture the bottles. The facility is equipped with three blow molding wheels, creating three separate lines. The environment is fast-paced, warmer in the summer, cooler in the winter, and well-organized. Steel-toed boots are required for safety. Available shifts include 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm), and 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:30am). Expect 10 hours of overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alsip, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
