Company Overview:

Edison Foard is an 86-year-old Charlotte-based commercial general contractor. We are seeking to hire a fulltime, Project Manager with experience at a supervisory level with the ability to manage complex projects while maintaining a positive client/contractor relationship.

Responsibilities

Oversee 2-4 projects concurrently with values of $15 - $40 M+ annually

Manage the project financials and job budgets & profitability while delivering a quality project

Lead the project team client, architect, superintendent, subcontractors, vendors

Manage schedules, submittals, RFIs & financial reporting, subcontracts, COs, POs, etc. Managing overall project document control

Plan and coordinate construction activities

Evaluate risk

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in construction management, preferred, or degreed in a related field or applicable certification or minimum 10+ years commercial general construction experience.

Ground up experience a plus

Public and private client experience

Ability to read and understand construction documents and contracts

Knowledge and proficiency in MS Office, Project, Procore, Bluebeam

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to adapt and follow EF established processes

Commitment to working as an Edison Foard team member with strong client focus

Ability to communicate and plan with engineers, architects and stakeholders

Willingness to travel a plus

Experience with multiple delivery methods
