Role Description This full-time Sr IC Layout Designer role is an on-site position based in Redmond, WA. The Sr IC Layout Designer will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and optimizing analog and mixed-signal IC layouts, ensuring compliance with design rules and manufacturing constraints. Daily tasks include working closely with circuit design engineers, performing layout floorplanning, device placement, routing, and parasitic-aware optimization. The role involves using industry-standard EDA tools to run verification checks such as DRC and LVS, and addressing layout-related issues throughout the design cycle. The designer will also contribute to layout best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement of layout methodologies to support high-quality, tapeout-ready designs. Qualifications Strong IC Layout and Layout Design skills for analog and mixed-signal circuits Experience with Analog design concepts and collaboration with analog circuit designers Proficiency with Cadence and related EDA tools for layout implementation and verification Ability to handle Page Layout and documentation for design reviews and project tracking Solid understanding of DRC, LVS, and other physical verification processes Relevant technical degree (e.g., \"Electrical Engineering or related field\") or equivalent experience Prior experience in advanced semiconductor process technologies is highly beneficial Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams #J-18808-Ljbffr Encore Semi, Inc.
