Compensation: $110,000-$140,000 base salary + performance bonus

About the Role

We are looking for a Branch Manager to take ownership of a growing residential home services operation in Shallotte, North Carolina. Positioned between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach, this is an opportunity to lead a local business in a growing market while having the resources and support of a larger organization behind you.

This is not a role for someone who wants to simply maintain the status quo. The Branch Manager will own the performance of the branch, lead and develop the team, improve day-to-day operations, and drive profitable growth. We are looking for a leader who is comfortable being close to the business, solving problems in real time, and holding people accountable to a high standard.

Prior home services experience is not required. We care more about leadership ability, operational ownership, business acumen, and the ability to learn quickly.
Responsibilities

Lead the Branch

• Take full ownership of the day-to-day performance of the Shallotte operation.
• Lead, coach, and develop the local team while establishing clear expectations and accountability.
• Build a culture centered on performance, customer service, teamwork, and execution.
• Identify gaps in people, process, and training and take action to address them.

Own the Business

• Manage the branch P&L and understand the operational drivers behind revenue, margin, labor, and profitability.
• Translate company goals into clear priorities for the local team.
• Use data and operating metrics to identify problems and opportunities.
• Balance short-term execution with the long-term growth of the branch.

Drive Operational Excellence

• Ensure work is scheduled, staffed, and executed effectively.
• Improve processes that impact productivity, customer experience, quality, and profitability.
• Create consistency and accountability across the operation.
• Stay close enough to the field to understand what is actually happening, not just what the numbers say.

Grow the Market

• Help expand the company's presence throughout the Shallotte and surrounding coastal North Carolina market.
• Build strong relationships with customers, employees, and local partners.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve customer retention, and strengthen the branch's reputation.
• Build the team and infrastructure necessary to support continued growth.

Requirements
Must-Haves

The ideal candidate is a proven leader who has owned meaningful outcomes and knows how to get results through people. You do not need to come from residential home services, but you should be able to walk into an unfamiliar environment, learn the business quickly, and take ownership.

• Experience leading teams in an operational environment.
• Understanding of P&L management or demonstrated strong financial and business acumen.
• Ability to set clear expectations and consistently hold people accountable.
• Comfort making decisions without perfect information.
• Ability to move between strategy and hands-on problem solving.
• A strong bias toward action and follow-through.
• Ability to build credibility with frontline employees and senior leadership.
• A desire to run a business rather than simply manage a function.

How Success Will Be Measured

Success will ultimately be measured by the performance of the branch: profitable revenue growth, operational execution, customer satisfaction, employee performance and retention, and the development of a strong local team.

Within the first year, the Branch Manager should have a deep understanding of the business, clear operating rhythms in place, strong accountability throughout the team, improved visibility into branch performance, and a defined plan for continued growth.
Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $110,000-$140,000
• Bonus: Performance-based bonus opportunity
