Long-Term Care Nursing Position
Provide skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure resident safety, comfort, and well-being through comprehensive nursing procedures and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document residents health status and report changes to the medical team.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and dietary needs.
- Follow facility protocols and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Ensure accurate documentation of care provided and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid LVN or LPN license in the applicable state.
- Possess current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and clinical skills.
- Have previous experience in LTC or SNF settings preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to bring a valid state or federal-issued ID and wear a photo badge during shifts.
