A facility in Cooperstown, NY is looking for a labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum, newborn care RN. AWHONN-Fetal Monitoring, BLS, BLS Instructor, NRP required. 1, 12 hour call shift every 2 weeks. Every other weekend. Every other Holiday. Travelers cannot be resident of Otsego county. Caregivers are expected to make up any missed shifts within same pay period or following pay period, with the exception of mandated medical quarantine or at managers discretion. Two or more missed shifts will result in termination. License: RN Specialty: L&D Department: L&D Shift: 07:00 PM-07:30 AM Duration-weeks: 13 Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements: At least two years recent experience in field, current BLS certification, and a current nursing license per the state of assignment. For additional and specialty-specific requirement, please contact us Unit Details: - 2 years nursing experience and 2 years Labor and Delivery experience required. Will consider a highly qualified first time traveler. - Basic fetal monitoring, Neonatal Resuscitation and Basic Life Support required. - Must be able to work independently and capable of post-partum/ Normal newborn care. -Travelers cannot be resident of Otsego county. -Some floating between facilities possible. -Possibility to care for mother baby patients on the unit.
