Registered Nurse (RN) - Mom/Baby Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Mom/Baby unit. This role is critical in providing high-quality nursing care to mothers and their newborns during their hospital stay. Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, ensuring the well-being of both mothers and infants.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following standard operating procedures.
- Educate new mothers on postnatal care, breastfeeding techniques, and infant care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care plans.
- Document all nursing care and patient information accurately in the medical record.
- Respond to emergencies and initiate life-saving measures when necessary.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous experience in a Mom/Baby or related unit is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
