Shifts: Nights 6:45 PM - 7 AM


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This critical role is focused on providing exceptional pulmonary care to patients of all ages, under the guidance of a physician, in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Respond to emergency situations including Code Blue and White
• Manage airways, including nasotracheal and endotracheal suctioning
• Deliver aerosolized drugs
• Ventilator setup and operation
• Perform oral hygiene
• Manage airway retaining and support devices such as BiPAP and CPAP
• Utilize oxygen delivery devices and monitor therapy
• Analyze chest films and EKGs
• Collect and analyze blood gases
• Perform accurate and complete documentation
• Clean and stock equipment and supplies as needed
• Participate in CAP and JC surveys
• Function as Shift Leader or Team Leader as required

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• RT or RCP License in the state of TX required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• PALS certification required (AHA only)
• NRP certification required
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
