Senior Accounting Manager

This is a highly visible, hands‑on leadership role, overseeing day-to-day accounting operations while driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with government contracting regulations and supporting continued growth. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP, PR, Billing, AR, and cash management Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, and DCAA requirements Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and payments Maintain audit‑ready workpapers and support internal and external audits Assist in leveraging ERP systems and support automation and process improvements Collaborate regarding SOX compliance to ensure internal controls operating effectively Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required, CPA preferred, and Big 4 or national public accounting firm preferred Bachelor’s in accounting or finance with 8+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience with EAC forecasting and revenue recognition (ASC 606) Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks required Prior experience with Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred Experience working in a government contractor with at least $50M in revenue #J-18808-Ljbffr Cherry Bekaert
