Details Surgery unit setting performing OR circulating duties Variable 4x10 shift schedule, Monday through Friday, rotating between 0630-1700, 0830-1900, and 1030-2100 Requires 1-2 nights per week with on-call responsibilities Requires coverage of 1 weekend per month Utilizes EPIC EMR system Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS and ACLS certification required PALS certification preferred CNOR certification preferred Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Prior OR circulating experience required EPIC EMR experience required Associate Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred Additional Information Assists surgeons and anesthesiologists while coordinating equipment, supplies, and staff flow during surgical procedures Ensures patient safety throughout all phases of perioperative care Applies aseptic technique principles consistently during procedures Prepares patients for surgery including proper anatomical positioning Safely operates all OR equipment and handles biohazardous materials per protocol Documents tissue/allograft handling and verifies package integrity per manufacturer guidelines Accesses facility information systems to support patient care documentation Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined Candidates with any prior adverse licensure action will not be considered No radius restriction applies, and local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as travelers American Traveler Job ID P-748752.
