Job Opportunity: Nocturnist Psychiatrist

Our organization, affiliated with a prominent medical institution, is looking for a full-time Psychiatrist to join the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) as a Nocturnist. This position is based in the culturally rich community of Western Queens, which is known for its diversity.

The Nocturnist will be expected to work 3-4 overnight shifts during weekdays or weekends, totaling a 40-hour work week. A strong interest in collaborating closely with residents is crucial. This role not only offers the chance to teach but also allows for engaging clinical work enriched by the community's cultural variety. The convenient location in Western Queens ensures easy access from various parts of NYC, Westchester, and Long Island.

• Provide psychiatric care as part of the CPEP team.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring residents.
• Participate in clinical activities that reflect the community's diversity.

• MD/DO degree required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
• Valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number.

We offer a faculty appointment with our affiliated medical school, which will be aligned with your credentials, experience, and qualifications. This position includes teaching opportunities within our adult residency program, a supportive work environment, and a competitive salary package. The compensation ranges from $289,000 to $299,000 and includes a signing bonus along with comprehensive benefits.
