What You Will Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests across various specialties—chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assure proper collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, engage in training new team members or students, and contribute to the achievement of lab quality benchmarks.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace and comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, alongside a commitment to ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be acquired within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification during your tenure.
