Nurse Practitioner Or Physician AssistantMedcor is currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work on a PRN basis (as-needed) in our employer-based clinic setting in Union City, CA. The work environment is in a modern, global pharma facility, focusing on occupational health and acute/episodic care. The clinic operates Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.The compensation for this role is $80.00 - $85.00/hr.THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME JOB. The position's responsibilities also include collaborative work with other medical and operational leadership at Medcor, other Medcor advocates, and key contacts within the client's corporate structure. The day-to-day role of the PA/NP includes close cooperation with the on-site medical staff operating in the clinic and a focus on team care across the Medcor operation for this client. The clinic provides a broad scope of services including the diagnosis and treatment of workers compensation injuries and illnesses, urgent care, surveillance and regulatory exams, and preventative services. This position will work closely with a Medcor employed oversight physician assigned to the site, as well as the onsite leadership team. This position requires no weekend or on-call hours; however, with advanced notice, flexibility for additional hours is preferred, as requested by the client.
