Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) – PreK | 2026-2027 School Year Location: North Chicago, IL Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite School Year: August 17, 2026 – May 26, 2027 Position Details Full-time, onsite position School year: August 17, 2026 – May 26, 2027 Schedule: 8:00 AM – 2:45 PM Serve PreK students Caseload of approximately 35-40 students School-year schedule with holidays and breaks off Responsibilities Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and provide individualized therapy services Develop and implement treatment plans to support students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual motor, self-care, and functional school skills Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and other related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines Support students in achieving greater independence and success within the school environment Qualifications Current Illinois IDFPR Occupational Therapy License required Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required School-based experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $60,000-$72,000 annually Full-time school-year schedule Early dismissal each day at 2:45 PM Predictable daytime hours with evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks off Collaborative and supportive educational team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact through early childhood intervention Professional environment focused on student success If you're passionate about helping young children build the skills they need for lifelong success, we'd love to hear from you.
