Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric categories using standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Design bespoke treatment strategies that cater to both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver personalized therapy sessions, emphasizing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing rehabilitation.
• Cultivate collaborative relationships with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and families to ensure holistic care pathways.
• Provide vital education resources for patients and families to encourage continuous progress outside therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient therapeutic evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing seamless care along the treatment continuum.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as institutional protocols.
• Eagerly pursue professional development through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state license for practice as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within your first month of employment.
