Patient Access Rep

DESCRIPTION

Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM Some rotating early 7:30 weekly arrivals. Will require a rotating weekly schedule to work at our Northlake location.

SUMMARY

Provides customers with courteous customer service in person and on the phone. Accurately enters data into computer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcomes patients into the practice Handles registration by entering patient demographics Verifies patient insurance and collect copays Data Entry to ensure accurate patient billing Scanning patient information into EMR Clear understanding of insurance plans to ensure proper appointment scheduling Operate standard office equipment such as calculators, computers, copiers, scanners, and facsimile equipment Ability to work in a fast pace environment with 10 Physicians, 1 PA-C, and 1 NP Adhere to company dress and appearance requirements Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS
