Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry Unit position requiring 1 year of travel experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a high acuity, fast paced 35 bed Telemetry Unit,
• Care for acutely ill patients admitted from the ED, ICU, and PCU with a focus on cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses,
• 13-week assignment with a 06:45-19:15 shift,
• 36-48 hour work week acceptable,
• Every other weekend requirement,
• Holiday coverage required per unit need,

Job Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required,
• BLS certification required (AHA),
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required,
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• 1 year of travel nursing experience required,
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start,

Additional Information

• Provide telemetry-level nursing care to acutely ill cardiac and pulmonary patients,
• Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted but may receive a reduced rate depending on distance from facility,
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
