Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate each patient's physical conditions through comprehensive examinations and evaluations to establish effective treatment programs tailored specifically for them.
• Develop individualized therapy plans that balance immediate recovery needs with long-term goals, utilizing best practices in physical therapy.
• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, while incorporating modalities including heat, cold, and ultrasound therapy to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress, documenting sessions rigorously to ensure compliance with clinic standards and adjusting treatment plans proactively as required.
• Provide education to patients regarding their conditions and create home exercise programs that empower them to actively participate in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care that prioritizes the overall well-being of each individual.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on delivering care to diverse patient populations ranging from individuals seeking post-operative rehabilitation to those recovering from chronic illnesses. You will need to apply your knowledge and skills flexibly to accommodate the unique challenges faced by each patient. Additionally, you'll frequently engage with patients who may have varying levels of mobility, requiring a compassionate and patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy and physiology as it pertains to physical therapy.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Compensation and Benefits
