Responsibilities

• Process customer checkouts efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash transactions and ensure correct cash management
• Perform closing procedures including cash reconciliation and reporting
• Operate standard point of sale (POS) systems proficiently
• Assist customers with inquiries and provide high-quality customer service during closing shifts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
• Support the team with closing duties to ensure store readiness for the next day

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in retail or cashiering roles
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency with standard POS systems
• Strong cash management skills
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Basic math skills for transaction accuracy
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Problem-solving capability to manage closing challenges
• Ability to lift 50lbs to assist with furniture carry outs.
