Registered Nurse (RN) – Women's Services, PRN – Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville, KY As a Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team, you will support a mission dedicated to making communities healthier. About the Women's Health Department The Women's Health Department provides comprehensive patient care across multiple specialty areas, including Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Women's Health Surgical Services, and the Newborn Nursery. Responsibilities Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Document patient care given. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients. Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. Education Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) required within one month of hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months of hire. License Registered Nurse licensed to work in Kentucky.
