Claims Support Specialist

To ensure a quality member experience, the full-time Claims Support Advocate will serve as a liaison between plan members, providers, and health insurance companies, handling claim inquiries and communications remotely. Key responsibilities Provide effective and timely customer service regarding health care claims for members, providers, insurers, and clients Negotiate with providers on plan member balances and appeal claim denials from insurance companies Organize health insurance paperwork, communicate status updates, and assist members in resolving claim errors or denials Required qualifications 1 year of experience in customer service roles 3 years of revenue cycle or carrier experience Prior work experience in a claims support and health insurance role Ability to take meticulous notes and document actions taken College degree preferred, with additional experience considered in lieu of degree
