Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated HR Coordinator to support daily HR operations across multiple locations and states. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth employee experience from onboarding through employment lifecycle changes.

This is not a purely administrative role. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow into a broader HR role over time.

What You’ll DoDay-to-Day Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding through Paylocity, including offer letters, new hire setup, and onboarding workflows.
• Manage background checks through Checkr and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity.
• Process employee changes (status updates, pay changes, promotions, terminations).
• Track and follow up on time-off requests and approvals.
• Respond to employee HR inquiries and support the HR Manager/management team.
• Maintain organized documentation, including notes to file and employee records.
• Other tasks as needed.

Growth & Development Responsibilities

• Assist with payroll preparation, audits, and reporting across multiple entities.
• Support benefits administration and employee questions.
• Help draft HR communications, policies, and updates.
• Assist with employee relations documentation and investigations.
• Track compliance items across multiple states.

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state teams.
• Exposure to payroll or benefits administration.
• Interest in growing into an HR Generalist role.
• Experience in fitness, wellness, retail, or healthcare environments.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Weekends as needed.

• 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience.
• Experience with an HRIS system (Paylocity preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
