Job Title Director, Growth Strategy Overview Entegris is currently seeking a Director, Growth Strategy, to join our MS Business Operations team. The location for this position is flexible, ideally based at one of our MS sites (Aurora, IL; Burnet, TX; Danbury, CT). The Director of Growth Strategy will serve as a strategic leader focused on evaluating the effectiveness of investments across the division. Partnering closely with R&D, product development, and business unit leaders, you will develop and apply robust models to assess ROI, risk, and long‑term value of initiatives. Your core mission is to ensure that the division is investing its dollars most effectively by providing data‑driven insights that guide resource allocation, portfolio prioritization, and strategic decision‑making. What You’ll Do Tie together all aspects of division‑level portfolio management – including new product development, capital, M&A, site, etc. Develop and evaluate models (cost of ownership, business cases, forecasts, etc.) to make strategic recommendations on growth initiatives. Take division‑level ownership of product pricing and life cycle management in partnership with the businesses. Develop financial valuation methodology and models for innovation and growth activities. Partner with the business to lead the modeling of specific organic and inorganic growth opportunities. Build strong working relationships with key functional partners to ensure appropriate prioritization, support, and resources for successful execution of business strategy. Define sustainable key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success in all areas, such as portfolio management and profit center reviews. Collaborate with a wide variety of functional areas (R&D, Engineering, Finance, Fab Technologies, Manufacturing, Legal, Supply Chain) to accomplish business objectives. Strong Financial and Business Acumen – Understanding of P&L, risk assessment, decision making, strategic/systems mindset, experience with return on investment models. Customer Focus – Strong customer orientation and understanding of the application, passion for building relationships, effective at influencing the customer with experience of direct customer communication. Industry Experience – Experience with MS businesses a plus; experience in the advanced manufacturing or technology industries required. Technical – Proficient to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; SAP BPC and/or OneStream a plus; proficient to advanced knowledge of PowerBI is a plus; or managing dashboard development/automation. Education – B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or relevant industry experience. Experience – Minimum 10 years’ experience. Other – Ability to travel (25‑50%). Benefits Compensation: $185,000 - $245,000 per year (annual pay dependent on overall skills for the role). Generous 401(K) plan with an impressive employer match.
