DayHab Direct Support Professional

DayHab Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Brooklyn, NY Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay: $18.00–$23.00 per hour HASC Center is seeking caring and enthusiastic individuals to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our DayHab program. As a DayHab DSP, you’ll help individuals build independence, develop life skills, and engage with the community in a safe, meaningful way. Responsibilities Assist with daily living skills and personal care as needed Support individuals in group activities and community outings Encourage socialization, communication, and independence Follow individualized plans and behavior supports Document progress using electronic records Maintain a positive and respectful environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED Experience with I/DD preferred but not required Basic computer and communication skills Must be able to assist with mobility (e.g., pushing wheelchairs) Driver’s license may be required for some roles TB test required Benefits (for full-time staff) Medical Dental Vision 401(k) Commuter Life Insurance Join a mission-driven team and make a difference every day! #J-18808-Ljbffr Unclassified
