Company Description Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana is a world‑class gaming, hospitality, and entertainment destination in Bossier City, serving the greater Shreveport–Bossier City region. The property features over 1,000 slot machines and more than 40 table games, offering guests a dynamic and varied gaming experience. The on‑site hotel includes approximately 550 rooms designed for comfort and convenience. Guests can enjoy multiple food and beverage venues as well as 25,000 square feet of ballroom, meeting, and multi‑purpose space, making the facility a key location for events and group functions. Role Description The Group Sales Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based at Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana in Bossier City, LA. This position is responsible for prospecting, developing, and managing group sales accounts for meetings, events, and overnight stays, with a focus on maximizing revenue across gaming, hotel, and food and beverage operations. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting sales calls and site visits, preparing proposals and contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with corporate, association, and leisure group clients. The Group Sales Manager collaborates closely with operations, catering, events, and revenue management teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and high guest satisfaction. The role also involves tracking sales performance, forecasting group business, and representing the property at industry events and networking functions. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in group sales, account management, and business development within hospitality, gaming, or related industries. Experience with event planning, meeting coordination, and understanding of ballroom and multi‑purpose space utilization. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long‑term client relationships. Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and basic office software for managing pipelines, proposals, and contracts. Solid organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to handle multiple group leads and events simultaneously. Knowledge of revenue management principles and familiarity with hotel group pricing, inventory control, and forecasting. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Prior experience in hotel or casino group sales is highly beneficial; local market knowledge of the Shreveport–Bossier area is a plus.
