Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts (7:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13–18 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Accurately document and submit hours worked through the designated time-tracking platform
• Adhere to facility compliance requirements, including annual hands-on competency and required modules
• Obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license – permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (Charge RN references accepted)
• Must achieve an acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single Medical Surgical / Telemetry location preferred
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm interpretation
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care setting
