Make a meaningful difference in the educational journey of students by providing expert behavioral guidance as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)! In this rewarding contract opportunity located near Newark, NJ, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to improve student outcomes through evidence-based behavioral strategies.
What you’ll bring:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
- Strong skills in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Deep knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies
- Ability to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for learners of all backgrounds
How you’ll make an impact:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ behavioral needs and strengths
- Design, implement, and regularly monitor personalized behavioral interventions
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and support staff
- Provide coaching and training for staff and family members in ABA methodologies
- Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure detailed, timely documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop student-centered goals
- Offer crisis intervention and ongoing support to enhance student achievement
