Materials Operator

This is a fixed term contract up to 24 months, with the potential for a permanent contract. Working 37.5 hours per week on a weekly rotating shift pattern of: Mornings: Monday to Friday 6.30am – 2.30pm Afternoons: Monday to Friday 3.00pm – 11.00pm In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Ensuring Safety: By promptly reporting hazards and incidents, you’ll help maintain a safe working environment for everyone. Collaborating Effectively: Communicating with your team and support staff will foster a cooperative and productive work environment. Continuous Improvement: Engaging in training and actively participating in improvement initiatives will help enhance processes and personal development. Attention to Detail: Follow procedures meticulously to ensure quality and accuracy, quickly identify and address quality issues, and minimize downtime. Although not required as training will be provided, candidates with experience operating any PIV help to contribute to a safe, more efficient and productive workplace. Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously follow procedures and specifications to ensure quality and accuracy in handling and delivering material and components to the production lines. Ability to identify quality issues and or incorrect parts, to quickly minimize production downtime. Time Keeping: Delivering material in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and keeping the production line running smoothly. Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment. Teamwork and Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively within the Materials team and across departments. Communicate clearly about processes, issues, and safety concerns.
