Job Description

• Create Individualized Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs to devise unique treatment strategies that empower them to reach their functional aspirations.

• Collaborate with Teams: Work hand-in-hand with a diverse group of OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide integrative care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction on therapeutic techniques to enable patients and caregivers to support ongoing recovery at home.
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor outcomes closely, adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure patients achieve their goals.

Education

• Accredited degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Encouragement for continuous education and additional certifications.

Certifications

• Active registration as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) required.
• NBCOT certification is a must.
