ReceptionistNorthridge, CAFull time – Temp to hireMonday thru Friday – 7:30am to 4pm$20hr to start.Company specializing in the design, engineering and manufacturing of components for commercial aircraft cabin interiors and In-flight Entertainment is looking for a Receptionist to join their team in Northridge.Summary: The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills who can effectively manage multiple administrative responsibilities.Responsibilities:Welcome visitors, guests, and vendors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or area.Answer, screen, and forward incoming telephone calls in a professional manner.Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail.Perform extensive filing and maintain organized company records and documents.Scan, organize, and electronically maintain documents.Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy.Purchase and maintain adequate inventory of office supplies.Process and assist with office bill payments and related administrative tasks.Schedule appointments and maintain calendars as needed.Provide administrative assistance and support to colleagues and various departments.Assist with general office organization and day-to-day administrative functions.Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming reception area.Perform other general office duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Professional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Working knowledge of QuickBooks.Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
