divh2Executive Affairs Coordinator/h2pReports to: President and CEO Staff reporting to this position: None Department: Executive Position classification: Exempt, full time; Nonunion - Level 4 Compensation range: $65,000$78,000 per annum Work site: On-site (Washington, D.C., office)/ph3Summary/h3pAmerican Progress has an immediate opening for an Executive Affairs Coordinator who will support the President and CEO of American Progress in managing their briefing materials, internal and external events, and schedule. The Executive Affairs Coordinator will work with members of senior leadership and staff at all levels of American Progress to ensure the President and CEO is well organized, well informed, and using their time well. The Executive Affairs Coordinator should have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, be proactive, and be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment./ppResponsibilities:/pulliBuild the President and CEOs daily briefing book./liliLead teams across American Progress to produce briefing papers for the President and CEO./liliManage the President and CEOs calendar, including scheduling meetings, calls, and events./liliPrepare meeting agendas, presentations, and follow-up notes for key discussions./liliHandle travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries./liliWork with members of the Executive department to track key deadlines, commitments, and deliverables across the Executive team and the entire organization./liliSupport special projects and initiatives as assigned by the President and CEO./liliHandle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpRequirements and qualifications:/pulliOne to two years of experience in a front office position or similar roles./liliComfort with fast-paced work environments./liliWillingness and desire to take on significant responsibilities quickly./liliStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask./liliHigh level of professionalism and confidentiality./liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills./liliProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Calendar./liliBachelors degree preferred./li/ulpAmerican Progress provides a competitive compensation and benefits package.
