Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Overview Excellent opportunity for an experienced neonatal nurse practitioner to join our dedicated group of eight neonatologists and a team of NNPs providing high‑quality care at the Carilion Clinic Children’s Hospital (CCCH) in scenic Roanoke, Virginia. New graduates will be considered only if willing to relocate. Responsibilities Provide in‑house coverage caring for critically ill neonates and attend high‑risk deliveries. Take ownership of an individual patient team (up to 20) across all acuity levels. Work 24‑hour shifts with occasional 12‑hour availability. Assist in a Level‑IIIB NICU with 700 admissions annually and an average daily census of 47 babies, providing high‑frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy.
