• Shift: Outpatient clinic, 4 days/week, 8-10 hours/day (pending patient volume)

• License/Certs: Active VA license required, Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine – Hematology and Oncology
• Experience: Fellowship required, prior outpatient Oncology experience preferred
• Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide outpatient Hematology and Oncology consultations and follow-up care
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 12-15 patients daily
• Conduct patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for oncology patients
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of 3 permanent HemOnc providers, 6 RNs, 1 PA/NP, and office staff
• Participate in light call duties—beeper only, 2-5 calls per week, response within 1 hour
• Document patient encounters using EMR system (Aria)
• Contribute to a mission-driven culture focused on quality, compassionate care

What You Need:

• Active VA medical license
• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine with specialization in Hematology & Oncology
• Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology required
• Minimum 2+ years of outpatient Oncology experience preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
