Document resident condition and nursing needs accurately and in a timely manner; report pertinent observations and reactions to residents promptly. Develop, direct, and monitor nursing assistant assignments, adjusting based on census and level of care required. Execute treatments as necessary and document reactions to medications and treatments. Generate, prepare, administer, and chart all medications. Initiate physician orders. Facilitate communication with families regarding changes in medications and/or resident status. Establish protocol to ensure care plans are continually reviewed for updated and accurate data that represents the individuality of the resident. Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to deliver quality customer service. Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse graduate from an accredited nursing program. Active Licensed Practical Nurse license and other licensure required by state regulations.
