Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
ER Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. Start date 08/24/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $2,216-$2,410 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is Flex (day/evening) with one or two other nurses and a full-time ER physician, in a busy trauma Level 3 department located in a rural northeast Oregon setting. This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital-type environment.

Responsibilities
- Assess, prescribe, delegate, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process
- Deliver safe, high-quality care and ensure adherence to established standards, policies, and procedures
- Develop and implement the Nursing Care Plan; advocate for patients and coordinate care with the healthcare team
- Provide supervision and direction for any personnel assigned to the unit
- Communicate effectively with the Unit Nurse Manager or House Supervisor and collaborate with the ER physician

Requirements
- 3+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a busy trauma Level 3 ER department
- Flexibility to work day/evening shifts
- Current RN license to practice in Oregon or eligibility per state regulations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
